Stand-Off CWA/TIC Detection System
The RAPIDPlus is a highly reliable and robust second-generation stand-off FTIR detector, designed to automatically Detect, Identify, and Monitor all known Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) and important Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs) at long distances. This one-piece self-contained system provides real-time detection and can be deployed on any platform or infrastructure, using an extended substance library. RAPIDPlus is specifically designed for the detection and identification of chemical agent clouds. It can detect ammonia in industrial complexes up to several kilometers away when mounted onto a stationary tripod. The dimension and movement of the chemical cloud can be estimated using the innovative Video Overlay Mode (VOM).
