Chemical radiological threat detector
Hardened to military standards, reliable and robust; RAID-XP is able to detect, identify and continuously monitor Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) & Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) using a high-end Ion Mobility Spectrometer.
Simultaneously semiconductor sensors and two photodiodes are used for the detection and quantification of gamma radiation, dose rate, and accumulated dose. Data monitoring and interrogation are achieved through a clear, unambiguous dual display and easy-to-operate integral software menus. RS232 and GPS interface are enabled.
Features:
- The RAID-XP is robust and flexible, designed for use in harsh environments.
- lightweight, man-portable – capable of operating standalone or mounted in vehicles (readily implemented for mobile platforms).
- Identify, clarify, and measure quantity of warfare reagents down to ppm/ppb.
- Sensitive and reliable gamma radiation detection.
- Individual displays indicate the respective threats from CWA/TIC and gamma radiation.
- Recorded data paired with positioning – GPS.
Application:
To mitigate the combined threats from both chemical warfare agents and/or radiation
Military use, especially perimeter monitoring, counter-terrorism and civil defence applications
Installation to mobile platforms such as ships, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile laboratories, and civilian and police emergency response vehicles
