QC/QA in Pharma
FT-NIR, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy are key techniques in the pharmaceutical industry for research and QC / QA applications. These are non-destructive methods without any sample preparation that do not require the use of any solvents or reagents. Such methods make it easy to perform measurements with great time and cost savings. Measurement through packaging materials is also common.
To meet regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, Bruker Optics provides validated systems that can be used in accordance with cGMP / GMP standards and pharmacopoeias (PhEur, USP, etc.) and are simultaneously controlled by 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software. Bruker offers a complete portfolio of instruments for these applications, including comprehensive service and consulting validation services.
FT-NIR spectroscopy
FT-NIR spectroscopy allows a single instrument to quickly analyze multiple components. Near-infrared spectrometers can be equipped with optical probes for direct analysis of raw materials in the vessels where they are located, or it is possible to measure on the integration sphere in a petri dish or in vials for transmission.
FT-IR spectroscopy
Input control raw material quality control using mid-infrared spectroscopy (FTIR / MIR) in conjunction with attenuated full reflection (ATR) technology allows the measurement of infrared spectra of almost all types of liquid, solid and semi-solid samples in seconds. It is a very convenient technique with a wide application for easy quality / identity control of substances.
Raman spectroscopy
The growing demand for portable Raman systems for material verification (BRAVO) is based on a broad portfolio of applications for this spectroscopic technique. Bruker has developed the BRAVO system to overcome some of the limitations of portable Raman spectroscopy instruments such as fluorescence and safety issues. Measurements directly in the warehouse with the highest quality spectra are possible today.
